About Carved Furniture
Carved wooden furniture is the oldest and most demanding craft in our workshop. Each piece in this collection is shaped by hand using chisels and gouges passed down through generations of Sialkot craftsmen. Motifs draw on Mughal floral patterns, geometric lattice work, and contemporary abstract relief — applied to beds, sofas, cabinets, room dividers, mirrors, and decorative panels. The primary wood is mature Sheesham, chosen for its interlocking grain that holds crisp detail without splitting. Carving depth, pattern density, and finish are all adjustable: from a subtle surface texture to full three-dimensional relief carving. Because every piece is handmade, no two are identical — each carries the mark of the individual craftsman. Lead times are longer than for plain furniture (typically 8–12 weeks for heavily carved pieces), but the result is heirloom-quality work that cannot be replicated by machine.
