Carved Walnut Dewan with Olive Velvet

Traditional carved walnut-finish dewan upholstered in rich olive green velvet with cylindrical tasseled bolster cushions.

A stately traditional dewan with a hand-carved walnut-finish solid wood frame featuring ornate scrolled arms, a high arched back, and turned bun feet. The seat and back are deeply padded and upholstered in rich olive green velvet, complemented by two cylindrical bolster cushions with silk tassels at each end. This is the quintessential South Asian drawing room dewan — a piece that conveys heritage and craftsmanship in equal measure.
